Eid Mubarak!

Hey there! As salaam aleykoum my sisters in deen.

Although I’ve been writing my whole life, today is the first time I’m sharing it with you guys. (I’ve got many good mom & muslima hacks that I need to share😂) But one blogpost at a time :D

So, about l’eid..

I am one tired mom :D Today was so exhausted but the goal was to make the kids happy and make unforgettable memories and that’s exactly what happened..

After going to the mosque and having breakfast together, the kids opened their gifts and now we all need a BIG rest. :D

Eid is always so much fun but also so tiring hehe!

Last night there was not much sleep as I still needed to decorate our living room, finish the presents and decorate the dining table for our breakfast together. But there’s no excuse to waking up very early on the day of eid because everyone has to get ready for the mosque!

About the gifts, I want to share with you guys what I gifted my little loved ones as it’s something I’ve never done before. These time I did not spend hundreds of euros to gifts but I created something fun myself that will bring more joy and quality time to me & the kids. As studies showed that more toys will not make kids happier, but spending time together and making memories does.

I will share in my next blogpost what I made to gift my kids that was free and lots of fun! Btw they told me that this was the best present ever. Kids can be so thankful and happy with small thing. Kids are just the best! Cherish time with them every opportunity you get because one day they will be all grown up and we will be asking ourselves where time went..

Sending love & warmth, Kimberly from Hijabistuff
